What is Tiny Eden?

Tiny Eden is a cozy first-person farming sim by Bajka Games, published by Digital Vortex Entertainment and available on PC — Windows & Linux/SteamOS. It launched as a full 1.0 release on 7 September 2026 — no Early Access — after passing 150,000 wishlists, and holds a Very Positive rating on Steam. You turn a city apartment into an indoor garden: sow into planters you craft yourself, mix substrate from seven soil components scored on NPK, aeration and acidity, raise around 40 plant species through four growth stages, then cook the harvest into at least 40 recipes — because in 1.0 cooked dishes are the only thing you are allowed to sell.

This wiki is built from the studio's own posts rather than guesswork: the May developer FAQ, five dev logs, the launch-day patch notes, the achievement schema with live global unlock rates, and the developer replies that answered launch week's stuck players on the Steam board. Where two official statements disagree — Steam Deck support is the live example — both are quoted with their dates.

Balconies run warmer than the rooftop and colder than indoors — placement is a climate decision.

Get Started in 5 Steps

  1. Buy the trowel first. Nothing else clears a dead plant or empties a pot, and your first crop will wilt — the removal method catches out almost everyone.
  2. Sow quest crops into the gold-highlighted planters. The early strawberry objective does not count pots you chose yourself; see the quest fixes.
  3. Mix the substrate before you fill. Sand raises drainage, peat and coco coir hold water, perlite keeps the mix from compacting — the component table has all seven.
  4. Earn 100 coins to trigger the shop key, then cook and sell. Raw crops sell for nothing because they cannot be sold at all — the money loop explains reputation.
  5. Skip the fan add-on until you own a Castor planter. Clip-ons need a large 4x4 pot and a plant at the shoot stage — the add-on rules.

FAQ

What is Tiny Eden?

Tiny Eden is a cozy first-person farming sim by Polish studio Bajka Games, published by Digital Vortex Entertainment. You turn a small apartment in a futuristic city into an indoor garden, cook what you grow, and sell the dishes to your neighbours. It launched as a full 1.0 release on 7 September 2026 at $14.99, with no Early Access period.

Is it Tiny Eden or Tidy Eden?

Tiny Eden. 'Tidy Eden' is a common mis-hearing and gets searched several hundred times a month, but there is no game by that name. It is also not related to Garden of Eden, East of Eden or Little Eden, which are separate results that share the word.

Does Tiny Eden use generative AI?

Bajka Games has not published a statement either way, and as of 8 September 2026 the Steam store page carries no AI Generated Content Disclosure section — the box Valve requires developers to fill in when generative AI is used in a shipped game. That is the only verifiable signal available; you can check it yourself on the store page. The studio has said the game grew out of the team's own urban-farming experiments in a Warsaw apartment during the pandemic.
